The Public Attorney's Office (PAO) challenged those who said it is 'safe' the anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia to inject their children, grandchildren, families and other loved ones to eliminate the doubt of the parents of children who has been immunized by the same drug.
According to Atty. Persida Rueda-Acosta of PAO, the parents are almost not sleeping because it's like a 'nightmare' that was made to their 'experimental' children by Sanofi Pasteur and former Department of Health (DOH) officials.
Atty. Acosta was surprised because until now, no release 'list of students' by DOH and Department of Education (DepEd) who were immunized for Dengvaxia.
Acosta said they had requested for a long time a copy or list of children vaccinated but there is no list until now.
The PAO is aiming to monitor students who are immunized by Dengvaxia this is the reason why they are asking for those list.
The PAO has sent a formal letter to DoH and DepEd but until now they have not been given a copy.

“Ito po ay awareness para po kung yung mga anak niyo na may sintomas na, ng critical signs of dengue severe or severe illnesses dahil sila ay hindi pa na-dengue nung maturukan, ‘wag na pong magpaligoy-ligoy ang mga magulang, dalhin sa mga ospital,” said PAO Atty. Acosta.
At the same time, former Health secretary Janette Garin assured that she would face any case filed against her regarding the purchase of the Dengvaxia vaccine when she was the Secretary of DoH.
Garin said it is best to bring the case to court to properly explain the side of former government officials responsible for buying the vaccine.
Garin also believes that it is proven that they have no fault, so it is better to take the case to court and not in the media.
Garin pointed out that Dengvaxia's ongoing discussion of the media is causing public hysteria to the public.
She also regretted what had happened yesterday at the House of Representatives where angry parents of the kids who were immunized of Dengvaxia tried to hurt her.
Although and without any reference, Garin indicated that there are groups that exploit the situation and are indulging in the anger of the parents.
