An anti-election fraud advocate and former Biliran Representative Attorney Glenn Chong revealed why the Senate probe on alleged election cheating in 2016 elections didn’t get enough media attention.
In his post, Chong claimed that officials of electronic voting company Smartmatic were spotted guarding some of the members of the media during the hearing.
He also accused Smartmatic of paying some of the members of the media so they would not cover the hearing that could destroy their credibility as the official supplier of voting machines in the Philippines.
Chong said in his post.
In another comment, Chong also said that officials from Smartmatic Philippines are also avoiding being caught by their superiors from Venezuela.
Chong claimed.
Chong urged his followers to spread the news about said Senate probe, saying that the netizens are now the only people who can disseminate the information.
Chong said.
Some of his followers also noticed what Chong is referring to.
“Kudos to you Atty…I really watch it and feel dismayed when ABS cut their live but thank goodness #MAHARLIKA share a video from rappler kahit mahina pinagtyagaan ko pakinggan….you nailed them all even KIKO can’t straight his talking and Drilon trying to insist that you were nominated and a lawyer of BBM. BUt they can’t prove themselves….what I like best is when SIXTO open his mouth at the end and accused of stealing the document but you BURNED Him….salute to your braveness.” Netizen ElNoel Kpli said.
This is not the first time that Smartmatic has been accused of bribing people.
In 2009, Commission on Elections (Comelec) Special Bid and Awards Committee (SBAC) officials were accused of accepting millions of pesos bribery from Smartmatic.
However, they denied the accusations against them.
