Watch! “Tuloy parin!” | President Duterte receives praises from cops for letting himself wet in the rain to show his respect to PNP

President Rodrigo Duterte received applause from cops because he didn’t let the rain stop him from trooping the line together with Philippine National Police Director General chief Oscar Albayalde during the celebration of the organization’s 117th anniversary.

Duterte, despite being already vulnerable because of his old age didn’t let the sudden downpour stop him from showing his respect to the police officers.

Some people expressed their concern on the recent actions of the President, but they understand how Duterte loves PNP.
According to the sources, President Rodrigo Duterte refused the Presidential Security Group offer to cover him with an umbrella during the line trooping.

Duterte is known for being close to the PNP even since he was still the mayor of Davao City.

After the activity, President Duterte who’s wet in the rain still delivered his message to the cops.

He said that he was not affected by criticisms, saying that his critics just can’t accept their defeat during the last presidential elections.

“I do not give a s*** about criticisms for criticisms after all do not make a country progress and develop. Criticisms for — lalo na ‘yung napulitika, they cannot accept defeat,” Duterte said

“Look, I have hit the firewall. I cannot run again. For all intents and purposes, actually I am a lame duck President. If you are talking about politics, okay. I will not interfere anyway because after this, I cannot even run for a barangay captain.” he added.

He delivered the good news to the cops, saying that he would allocate P25-M a month for the medical bills of the police officers.

“I also take this opportunity today to extend the PNP’s gratitude to the president for his recent pledge extending a P25 million monthly support to the PNP’s reimbursement of hospitalization expenses program which will indeed go a long way in helping ease the financial burden on the shoulders of our police personnel who undergo medical treatment or are hospitalized,” Albayalde said.

“Napakalaking tulong po ito sa ating mga pulis. Maraming salamat po, Mister President,” he added.
